Mississippi Edition, August 20, 2009 Jackson mayor, Harvey Johnson has laid out his budget plan for Fiscal 2010. He’ll join us to share the figures, his thoughts and vision for Mississippi’s capital city. Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams, Richard Wright, William Faulkner...the list goes on and on of famous authors from Mississippi. We'll learn about the Mississippi Writers Guild and find out if it's just something in the water that makes our state such a fertile area for writers. And, today’s book club selection is called “WIND OF DESTINY”. Our guest is its author, Belhaven College Professor Dr. Louis H. Campbell.
